Mercedes-AMG GLE63 S Coupe

The Mercedes-AMG GLE63 S Coupe is the slightly awkward-looking sloped roofline "coupe" sibling to the standard GLE63 S SUV, and it's equipped with a new 4.0-liter V-8—the most powerful engine available. It'll start at $117,050 when it goes on sale at the end of the year.
Like the square-backed GLE63 S SUV, the Coupe is powered by a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V-8 that produces 603 horsepower and 627 lb-ft of torque, paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission and standard all-wheel drive. AMG claims a zero-to-60-mph time of 3.7 seconds in the Coupe, but during Car and Driver testing, the SUV model launched to 60 mph in 3.4 seconds and raced through the quarter-mile in 11.9 seconds at 117 mph, making it one of the quickest mid-size high-performance SUVs we've tested. The big AMG "coupe" is also equipped with its 48-volt Active Ride Control anti-roll system, adaptive dampers, and 22-inch wheels are standard on the more powerful S model. It's distinguished from the other GLE models by flared fenders, an aggressive rear diffuser, and, of course, AMG GLE63 S badges.

The 2021 Mercedes-AMG GLE63 S Coupe will start at $117,050—$2,105 more than the GLE63 S SUV. They'll arrive at dealerships in the U.S. by the end of the year.
